Gagoon!!!

Well, we went to Lagoon on Sunday. Jesse absolutely loved it. He was tall enough to go on 4 of the adult rides, which meant that Randle and I wasnt able to go any of them with the two of us (the roller coaster rides). We would have had to gone on them by ourself, which is not that much fun, so one of us could stay with Jesse. But we did have a great time. They have this ride call the dino-drop and it makes your stomach fall. Jesse had a ball. He wanted to keep going on it. Randle and I took him on it twice. He also loved the TidalWave, where if you have never been, it is a boat that rocks you back and forth. The first time he went on it, he had the look of death on his face, but when it was time to get off, he asked to get back on. We waiting an hour or so and took him back on it, this time, he laughed and raised his arms with Randle. We also took him on the scrabbler and the Tilt-o-whirl. I think my child is pretty brave for two years old. He loves all the rides that made his stomach drop.
We took a cooler and made sandwhiches, that way we didnt have to pay the high price for food. We had a great time. Jesse kept calling it the big carnaval. When we finally got it in him that it was called Lagoon, he pronounced it "Gagoon"...Until next time.

Well, Last night was the big night!!! Randle and I went to the Toby Keith concert at the USANA Amphatheater in West Valley. It was such an awesome concert. I am posting the photos so you can see....AND TOBY...What a HOTTIE!! Randle and I had a great time. My brother, Jason, he came and sat with us for a bit, we also saw Tawnie, a friend of the family, there too, she was just two rows in front of us. We all had a great time and I cant wait for him to come again. Our seats were 11 rows back from the stage. We were able to see everything. There were three new comer bands that played before Montgomery Gentry. I dont remember all there names, but the Trailer Choir, I liked alot. They sang a way funny song called "beer gut". I hope you enjoy the photos.

Lilie has a boyfriend

I just had to post this. This little dog keeps coming over to our house and visiting Lilie. She loves it and cries at the back door everytime he comes over to go out and play with him. I think he lives in our neighborhood, because he comes so often. He hasnt came in the last week though, I think his owners finally put him on a thicker leash, the last one he chewed through.

Labor Day

We went up to Mt. Pleasant for Labor Day and spent the day with my family. My parent, earlier this summer bought some property up there so that they would have some where to camp and not have to fight for a spot. They bought 5 acres and have been going up every weekend for a while getting camping spots made and putting a road in. It is a nice get away place. We went for a 4-wheeler ride for about 3 hours. We loved and and Jesse did too. I got some great photos of the view from the top of the mountain we rode to, as well as some of their property.

She passed away on the 18th of August peacefully. Randle, Jesse and I met with the family on Friday the 22nd to visit and talk about great memories that we have of her. We got to visit with Aunt Margie and her kids, Leslie and her husband John, Mark, David and his wife Rita. They are all wonderful people and We cant wait to visit with them again soon. I have posted some photos that I took from Friday night and Saturday at the luncheon after the funeral. We also went to dinner at Dalton's in Payson as a family. They have wonderful food and I was able to get a picture of Margie's family, along with my son jesse with them as well. He sure loved them. And by the time we had to say goodbye, he knew all there names and would laugh, play, and tease them. And I think they all like him just as much.
To you Margie, Leslie, Mark, David, John & Rita, thank you for making Randle, Jesse and I feel welcomed to your family, even though we are extended cousins in the line somewhere, you made us feel right in the pack with you all. And I cant wait until we can come and visit each of you in San Diego.

Rodney Carrington

Randle and I were able to go to the Rodney Carrington show on Saturday night out in Wendover. My parents were originally going, but they ended up having a ton of stuff to do at there property, that they asked if we wanted to buy there tickets. Well if that was a no brainer with my husband. He wanted to go so bad, and really only for one song..."Show them to me..." If any of you have ever been to a Rodney Carrington show or listened to one of his CD's or watched a DVD you know what I am talking about. For you others, you may or may not like him.
We had a wonderful time. I would have took pictures, but there was NO photography of any kind allowed during his show. So I took a couple photos of the surroundings and on our way there.
We definately will be going again next year if he comes back.
You can check out his website at www.rodneycarrington.com.

Barb's 60th Birthday

While I was in Evanston we had a Birthday Party for Barb. I made a cake out of my Apple Box oven that I learned to do from church, and we had a BBQ. It was a great turnout with only one minor accident with the kids. Dixie's little boy had cut his forehead open and bleed like no other. But we all know that head wounds bleed the worst. The cut wasnt to bad. Other than that and my child thinking he could just drop his pants and pee where ever he was standing brought quite a laugh to everyone. As the pictures I have to post with this you will see. As I call them "Blackmail Photos" when he gets married.
It was a wonderful night and everyone had a blast.

Wiped Out!

Well today I had my neices, Addison & Payton. It was a good day. They got along for the most part and really enjoyed each other's company. They had a ball playing outside and of course watching Sesame Street when it came on at 1:00. The one thing that they refused to do was take a nap. Hopefully Addison does well tonight at her parents soft ball game.
Jesse tried to keep going after Les came and picked up the girls, but he just couldnt fight those tired eyes any longer. He finally crashed. I hope that you enjoy the pics that I took of the kids today. And the one of Jesse...wiped out!!

Payton, she is climbing and walking around things, like the couch. Addison and Jesse love playing together and love trying to get the attention when I am doing something with Payton. Kids!!! Gotta love em!
