Evanston Trip

Well as some of you know, I am going to be working more. I have decided that I will be heading to Evanston again every week for two days a week. It will help out income out a bit. But when Jesse and I headed up there on Monday the 29th, Jesse got to spend the day with his Aunt Kay and cousin Kaisha. He had the best time, not only did Kay of course spoil him to death, but Jesse found him a little girl friend about his same age. Her name is Emalin. She shared his blanket and his little couch with her. And when she asked him for a kiss, he gave her one, and without saying anything about getting girl cooties from it. He liked her alot. He also had fun with Kaisha. For the most part he would just call Kaisha "Her" while I was around. But they had a blast. I am hoping to go and see there new house soon. It is pretty bad that My two year old has seen it before I have.
Happy New Year everyone!!

Thanksgiving photos

We spent lots of time with the family. Jesse attached himself to Erik, which was great! He always wanted to sit by Erick and wanted to know where Erik was all the time. I had to get pics of them together...Jesse's new buddy! He loved talking to everyone, and we all had a great time.

Thanksgiving and Reno

Well, I havent posted lately, mainly due to school work, traveling and kids. I finally have a minute to let you know that we have had a busy month. We went to St. George for Thanksgiving with Virginia, Les & Valerie and their kids, Lee & Jeannie, Nikki and Erik. We were invited by Louis and Brooks to come and spend the holiday at their place. We went for 3 night and 4 days. It was nice to see all the family again and let the kids play together. After Thanksgiving dinner we played bingo, with fun prizes. It seems to now be a tradition when we get together to do it. We all love it. We then traveled home and was home for a week and a half before we then again traveled to Reno, Nevada to see Randle's dad John. Jesse and I have never been there and the last time Randle was out there was when he was a teenager. So it was good to go. It took us 9 hours to get out there on Thursday. We went to the Nevada State Railroad Museum on Friday, then to lunch, then to John and Laurel's place to visit. We had a little Christmas while we were out there. We each opened gifts and John & laurel had a great time watchin Jesse open his. He got some play food, a treasure chest that a day later was accidently thrown off of the 4th floor of our hotel by him experimenting, to which now is in two peices instead of one, clothes, cars, and a bubble gum machine. He loved everything.
Saturday, Randle went with John to load tables and chairs while Virginia, Jesse and I stayed in teh hotel. They were gone longer than we expected, so we werent able to go and do much until we went to Laurel's daughters for dinner. After dinner Randle and I decided since Jesse was cooped in the hotel most of the day that we would take him to Circus Circus to play games. He loved it. He got 440 tickets, to which he picked out a gun and 40 tootsie rolls.
We headed home Sunday about 11, after having breakfast and saying our goodbyes. We got home alittle over nine hours later. IT was fun, but we are glad to be home. I sure missed my bed. I will post pics in a bit.

Vegas & The PBR!!

Well, thank you to some of our friends, Jason & Tammy Branin, we were able to attend the Saturday night event at the Thomas & Mack Center in Vegas to watch the PBR. It was awesome. We got to see the World Champion for 2008 win it that night, Guilherme Marchi, it was an awesome night. Randle and I hoping that we will be able to attend next year. With all the excitement and the crowds cheers, it was just great!
Jesse went down with us, and grandma Jan kept him company while we went. He figured out that if he put a bucket upside down he was high enough to slide down what she called her "fireman pole", or what Randle calls, "The stripper pole"! He loved jumping on her little exercise trampoline and reading books that she had there. They had a busy night, and she wore him right out. Thanks Jan for watching him. And thank you Jason & Tammy for inviting us to go!

Fight with a wrench and lost!!

As for most of you, you know my husband very well. You know that no matter what he does he is accident prone! Whether it is snowmobiling, skiing, four-wheeling, working, whatever....he is accident prone. Well he usually comes home with tissue missing from his knuckles or gooseegg bumps on his head from smacking it on heavy equiptment, but today he came home with a black eye and small cuts around the eye. When he called me this morning and asked me if it was normal for the surrounding of an eye to bubble up after smacking it, I got concerned. The pics I have posted do not give the bruising justice because of the flash, but like I said.....He got in a fight with a wrench and The wrench won!!!

Man...That had to have hurt!!
