July 24, 2010 - Fiesta Days last day of celebrations

A fun day was ahead of us for sure. Parade, carnival, visit with GG, more family, yard care and things to do in Santaquin, more carnival to finish using tickets for rides and home. Here are some photos to show you our fabulous 24th!

Jesse and Cheyanne on a kiddie ride at the carnival. Now Jesse thought it'd be funny to rub his hand on the tire while the ride was going. He is lucky it goes slow, or it probably would have ripped his arm off. Yes, he is my "Dennis The Mennis!" If it moves or can be pushed, he'll touch it, he can't resist.

Camryn and Jesse on yet another kiddie ride. At least this one he couldn't get dirty on.

This ride he went on after the car ride with the tire rubbing and black hands as a result. After he had the tire rub his hand, which made it BLACK, he started patting his mouth making noises. So then he had a black ring around his mouth and nose. So this ride bring on water, Janine, my aunt, told him to stick his hand in the water and rub his face to get some of the black off. Ya, that didn't work. He used the same black hand to rub his face with water, which made the black go all over his face instead of just the mouth and nose. So this picture shows him in the process of wiping his own face off.

Okay, I got him off the water ride and helped him wipe his face off. Still dirty but no where near as bad as when he tried to do it. I got his whole face and head wet. It was super hot, so he didn't mind at all. He is definitely ALL boy!

And lastly, after we did the big parade, family lunch, carnival rides, to which was a little to hot and the seats to the rides burned the poor kids' legs, we took a break and headed to Santaquin to get the yard work done on the house. Jesse ran through the sprinklers while I mowed the lawn and took care of some things. Jesse watered the tomato plants, to which he found our first cherry tomato for the season. I can't believe how the 6 plants are doing for me only watering them once a week. Of course, Jesse begged to eat the first one and I let him. He was so excited. He does call it his garden. Jesse was so puckered out that when we got done with the yard work, he asked if he could sleep on our way to GG's house, a whopping 20 minute drive, but he was tired! We stayed and played with her for a couple hours then headed back to Spanish Fork to finish using the carnival tickets so we could go home. We were going to go to the rodeo with my friend Jessica, but Jesse decided he'd rather go home. Which I am glad, Jessica said a poor little calf got killed. Jesse wouldn't have liked to see that. He cries when I kill grass hoppers or spiders.
We had a fun busy weekend, but we both were so glad to be back to our Wyoming home.
